  • Patent number: 10322473
Abstract: Flux cored welding electrodes comprise a iron based metal sheath and either a flux or metal core within the sheath, enclosing core ingredients. The core ingredients and sheath together comprise, in weight percentages based on the total weight of the electrode, very low levels of manganese. While having low levels of manganese the electrodes satisfy the strength and safety requirements required of commercial electrodes. Embodiments contain manganese in the range of 0.09 to 0.19% by weight of the electrode, along with other components.

  • Publication number: 20170008114
Abstract: A system and method is provided related to additive manufacturing, where a welding system is used to build a work piece on a substrate where the work piece has discrete attachment points to the substrate to allow residual stresses in the finished work piece to aid in the removal of the work piece from the substrate. The work piece has one or more discrete attachment points which penetrate into the substrate to secure the work piece during manufacture, but which allow the residual stress in the completed work piece to aid in the removal of the work piece from the substrate.

  • Patent number: 9475154
Abstract: Electrodes for depositing hardfacing alloys containing boron, carbon, chromium, manganese, and silicon on the surface of metal components that are subjected to high thermal and mechanical stresses. The deposited hardfacing alloys have from about 2.5 to about 14.0 atomic percent boron and have a hardness on the Rockwell ā€œCā€ scale of at least about 65 HRC in the first layer of the weld deposit.

  • Publication number: 20070090070
Abstract: A medication rack includes a body that defines a first plurality of medication holding recesses having a first diameter and a second plurality of medication holding recesses having a second diameter. A plurality of side walls are formed on the body. A pair of opposing side walls of the plurality of side walls are in intersecting planes. A pair of the opposing side walls and a third side wall adjacent thereto are configured to provide an ergonomic grasping segment for the user.

  • Patent number: 4714285
Abstract: There is described a fire-break door comprising a swivelling leaf provided with at least one lock with draw-bolt which can be controlled by an operating member, said leaf cooperating with a door-closer allowing to swing said leaf back automatically to the closed position thereof, in which means are provided on the one hand to retain the lock bolt in a recessed or withdrawn position when the door leaf lies in closed position, and on the other hand to let the bolt be released and enter the keeper of the lock with an abnormal rise in the temperature adjacent the door.

  • Patent number: 4663204
Abstract: There is described an intumescent fire-proof element comprised of a plate having on the one side thereof rectilinear grooves allowing folding; a fire-prevention structure comprising between a skeleton and metal sheets, such an element cooperating with means directing the expansion towards a space through which the composition the element is comprised of, may escape outwards; and a method for preparing said composition by contacting a liquid alkaline metal silicate solution with a powder-like hydrophilic substance.
