    Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a papermachine fabric has a device for removing contaminants from a fabric. The device has a contact surface which comes into contact with at least an outer side of the fabric and which is constructed and arranged in such a way that the contaminants can be transferred from the fabric to the contact surface. The apparatus is particularly useful in the cleaning of dryer fabrics having sticky or tacky contaminants in paper production.
