Publication number: 20080030579Abstract: Viewing a three dimensional area from numerous camera angles at different exposures using intensity and chromaticity data at the different exposures to create a pixel model for each pixel. A current image is compared with the background model to find pixels that have changed from their pixel model. These novel pixels are processed using contiguous region detection and grouped into foreground figures. For each camera, software extracts features from each foreground figure. A central processor maintains an object model for each foreground figure. A graphical user interface displays the relative location of foreground figures in a world model. The location and identification of the foreground figures is checked against a table of permissions so as to selectively generate an alert. If a figure leaves or is about the leave a cell, the invention accounts for its approximate position and notifies adjacent cells of the expected arrival of the foreground figure.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2007Publication date: February 7, 2008Applicant: Model Software CorporationInventors: John Kelly, J. Publication number: 20070289347Abstract: A locking mechanism including a first engagement element movable from a disengaged position to an engageable position upon receipt of a controlled predetermined electrical power input and a manually operated element engageable with said engagement element in said engageable position thereof. A lock bolt is mounted for movement between a locking position and an unlocking position. A lock-bolt drive element is operatively coupled with the lock bolt and is engageable with said manually operated element to move the lock-bolt between the unlocking and locking positions and a control is operable to supply the controlled predetermined electrical power input.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2007Publication date: December 20, 2007Applicant: C&M TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: J. Miller, Michael Harvey, James Taylor, Thomas Clark, Gerry Dawson

Publication number: 20050280500Abstract: A self-powered electronic combination lock including a lock mechanism having locked and unlocked conditions. A rotatable dial is used to input a numerical combination code for changing the lock mechanism from the locked condition to the unlocked condition. An electronic display operates to display individual numbers of the combination code as the dial is rotated and a control is electrically connected with the dial and the electronic display. The control changes the numbers shown in the display as the dial is rotated in a single direction and the control is operable to sense a change in the direction of dial rotation. An electricity generating device is connected with the dial and the control and operates through dial rotation to generate electricity to power the control.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2005Publication date: December 22, 2005Applicant: C&M Technology, Inc.Inventors: J. Miller, Michael Harvey

Publication number: 20050276708Abstract: A reciprocating piston/plunger pump inlet manifold includes an elongated cylindrical manifold member closable at opposite ends by transverse end caps connected to the manifold member by releasable couplings. A rubber or polymer liner formed with nitrogen filled closed cells is disposed within the manifold member. Spaced apart fluid discharge guide and mixing tubes are connected to the manifold member and include flanges for securing the manifold to inlet valve housings of a pump. The fluid flow guide and mixing tubes include partitions and a mixing chamber portion of the tubes. Improved fluid flow characteristics with minimal solids separation and minimal fluid velocity or acceleration induced pressure losses are exhibited by the manifold.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2005Publication date: December 15, 2005Inventor: J. Publication number: 20050220687Abstract: The present invention is a trona concentrate and a process for floating gangue material from trona ore that comprises forming an emulsion, conditioning the trona ore at a high solids content in a saturated trona suspension, and then floating and removing the gangue material. The process for separating trona from gangue materials in trona ore can include emulsifying an oil in an aqueous solution to form an oil-in-water emulsion. A saturated trona suspension having a high solids content can also be formed having trona of a desired particle size. The undissolved trona in the saturated suspension can be conditioned by mixing the saturated suspension and the oil-in-water emulsion to form a conditioning solid suspension of trona and gangue material. A gas can be injected through the conditioning solid suspension to float the gangue material.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2005Publication date: October 6, 2005Inventors: J. Miller, Xuming Wang, Minhua Li

Publication number: 20050180868Abstract: A power pump performance analysis system includes a signal processor connected to pressure sensors for sensing pressures in the cylinder chambers and inlet and discharge piping of a single or multi-cylinder pump. Pump speed and piston position are determined by a crankshaft position sensor. Pump vibration, fluid temperatures, and power input may also be measured by sensors connected to the processor. Performance analyses, including determination of pump volumetric efficiency, mechanical efficiency, suction and discharge valve sealing delay, valve and piston seal leakage, flow induced pressure variations, acceleration induced pressure detection, hydraulic resonance detection and pulsation dampener performance may be measured and selected parameters displayed on a visual display connected to the processor directly or via a network.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2005Publication date: August 18, 2005Inventor: J. Miller

Publication number: 20050081583Abstract: A self-powered electric lock includes a lock bolt and a first engagement element having disengaged and engageable positions. An electric actuator includes an output operative to move the first engagement element to its engageable position. A manually operated rotatable member is operatively coupled to the first engagement element when the first engagement element is in its engageable position. A lock bolt drive mechanism is coupled to the lock bolt and to the first engagement element when the first engagement element is in its engageable position. The movable output moves the first engagement element to its engageable position upon input of correct electronic data. An electricity generator is coupled to the manually operated rotatable member. The electricity powers the electric actuator and an electronic data input device. The manually operated rotatable member is also used to actuate the lock bolt drive mechanism and retract the lock bolt.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2004Publication date: April 21, 2005Applicant: C&M Technology Inc.Inventors: J.
