Patent number: 9804412Abstract: The eyewear comprises a frame, left and right lenses, a bridge member, and left and right arms comprising temporal extensions. A bridge spans between the left and right enclosures such that the two enclosures are joined together at a position, when worn, at the approximate longitudinal center of the wearer's face. The frame is hingedly coupled to the respective arms. At each end of each coupling member, there is a spring/tensioning element that biases each arm inward towards a closed position. Each arm comprises temporal extensions projecting inward from each arm such that when worn, the respective extensions are pressed against the wearer's temple regions of the head. When worn, the arms lightly press the temporal extensions against the wearer's temples and suspend the bridge member above the nose such that little or no pressure is placed upon the wearer's nose or any other part of the face.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2015Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Inventor: Sherrie J. Publication number: 20050084945Abstract: This invention relates to the isolation of nucleic acid fragments from Methylamons sp. that encode enzymes involved in denitrification. The enzymes are useful in denitrification reactions and for the identification of other denitrifying bacteria. In addition, this invention also relates to the construction of chimeric genes encoding all or a substantial portion of the present genes in sense or antisense orientation, wherein the expression of the chimeric genes results in production of altered levels of the present gene products in the recombinant host.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2001Publication date: April 21, 2005Inventors: Kelley Norton, J. Odom, Andreas Schenzle, Rick Ye

Patent number: 5740260Abstract: An apparatus for automatically recalling audio parameter setup is disclosed. A processor is coupled between a MIDI interface and one or more analog level controlled audio processor channels. The setup parameters, previously entered and stored by the composer in a host computer, are transmitted via the MIDI interface to the processor. The parameters are subsequently converted into an analog signal by a converter. The analog signal is provided to a parameter conversion array which converts the analog signal based on a transformation function. The outputs from the parameter conversion array are provided to one or more analog multiplexers. The outputs of the multiplexers are provided to the control inputs of the analog signal processing channels. Each control input of each analog signal processing channel includes a small capacitor, which in combination with an operational amplifier, forms a sample-and-hold circuit to temporarily store the analog output for the analog processor channels.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 1995Date of Patent: April 14, 1998Assignee: Presonus L.L.P.Inventor: Leo J. Patent number: 4738192Abstract: The grill frame includes a pair of elongated shaft members which are resiliently connected at their first ends so that upon the insertion of the first end into the abdominal cavity of the fowl, the shaft members may be urged against the opposite sides of the abdominal cavity with sufficient force to enlarge the abdominal cavity laterally and to disperse the meat of the fowl to substantially the equal plane. The method of insertion is such that the shaft members are held in substantially close proximity as the first end is inserted through the cavity and the shaft members are allowed to expand outwardly as the first end of the apparatus extrudes out of the rear of the cavity with the apparatus in position within the fowl.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 1986Date of Patent: April 19, 1988Inventor: William J. Odom, Jr.
