  • Patent number: 8336172
Abstract: A clamping collar including: a belt comprising a strip and two free ends, each of said the ends being curved back to form a loop and each loop being defined by an outer belt portion and by an underlying inner belt portion; and a tightening system suitable for bringing the loops closer together and for tightening the belt; and in which each of ends of the belt is curved back towards the inside of the collar, the inner belt portion being extended beyond the loop, under the strip, and the outer belt portion presenting a tightening wall with which the tightening system, comes into engagement.

Date of Patent: December 25, 2012
    Assignee: Etablissements Caillau
Inventors: Fabrice Prevot, Jérôme Jaffre, Nicolas Rigollet
  • Patent number: 8136211
Abstract: A clamping collar comprising: a belt having two free ends, at least one of said free ends being curved back to form a loop, said loop being defined by an outer belt portion and by an underlying inner belt portion; and a tightening system suitable for co-operating with said loop so as to tighten said belt; in which clamping collar said outer belt portion presents a pushed-in portion, set back relative to the outer outline of the loop, which pushed-in portion defines a tightening wall with which the tightening system comes into engagement, and is flanked on either side by respective ones of two edge segments of the outer belt portion.

  • Patent number: 7752022
Abstract: The invention is a method, having applications for the development of reservoirs, for predicting the production of an underground reservoir, comprising generating and updating a parameterized geologic model from production data and seismic data and in particular 4D seismic data which may be used in development of oil reservoirs. According to the method, production data are simulated from the geologic model and a flow simulator, and a petro-elastic depth model is deduced therefrom. A depth/time conversion model is then defined, by means of which the petro-elastic model is converted into time. The model is adjusted by correcting the lag induced by the depth/time conversion and by recalibrating the model. The geologic model is optimized by comparing, through an objective function, the real measurements with the simulation responses (production responses and seismic attributes in time) by updating in particular the depth/time conversion model.
