    Abstract: A method for performing an examination includes at least one magnetic resonance-based and at least one further examination step. An examination object is positioned during the entire examination on an upper side of a transfer plate that is positioned on an object table during the magnetic resonance-based examination. At least one coil holder that includes at least one local coil or by which at least one coil device is supported is used during the magnetic resonance-based examination step. The coil holder is arranged on the examination object during the magnetic resonance-based examination step exclusively.
