  • Patent number: 9781762
Abstract: A technique for handling mobile terminating connection attempts for a mobile terminal for which a change of an association from a first routing node to a second routing node is accompanied by a Circuit Switched (CS) fallback is described. In one exemplary embodiment, a method may be performed by a Circuit Switched Fallback Interworking Function (CSFB-IWF) for handling mobile terminating connection attempts for a mobile terminal for which a change of an association from the CSFB-IWF to a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) is accompanied by a Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB). The method may include receiving a mobile terminating connection attempt to the mobile terminal. In response to receiving the mobile terminating connection attempt, the method may include paging the mobile terminal using a Mobility Management Entity (MME). In response to paging the mobile terminal, the method may include triggering the mobile terminal to initiate a CSFB procedure.

  • Patent number: 9161268
Abstract: A technique for handling mobile terminating connection attempts for a mobile terminal for which a change of an association from a first routing node to a second routing node is accompanied by a Circuit Switched (CS) fallback is described. A method implementation of this technique comprises the following steps carried out by the first routing node: receiving a first mobile terminating connection attempt to the mobile terminal, in response to receipt of the first mobile terminating connection attempt, determining that the mobile terminal cannot be reached by the first routing node, determining an identity of the second routing node, and transmitting, to the second routing node, a second mobile terminating connection attempt for a CS connection to the mobile terminal.

  • Patent number: 7711357
Abstract: A method for sending (700) information enabling a contacting of a user of a mobile device (MS) to at least one location service client (CL1,CL2) is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of selection (200) of a type of location service clients on the mobile device (MS), transmission (300) of a type identifier from the mobile device (MS) to a server (NS) in a telecommunication system, the type identifier identifying the selected type of location service clients, analysis (400) of the type identifier for a determination (500) of one or more location service clients (CL1,CL2) associated (100) with the selected type of location service clients, determination (600) of at least one address of the one or more determined location service clients (CL1,CL2) according to a result of the analysis (400), and sending (700) information enabling the contacting of the user to the one or more location service clients (CL1,CL2) whose addresses are determined.

  • Publication number: 20070257774
Abstract: A method for delivery of a good for a first entity (C100) is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of transporting the good by a second entity (D100) to a storage (S120) which is locked by a lock system (S110), communicating a notification to the first entity (C100) for requesting an unlocking of the lock system (S110) for the second entity (D100), sending a message via a mobile telecommunication system from the first entity (C100) to the lock system (S110) for unlocking the lock system (S110), unlocking the lock system (S110) based on the received message, opening the storage (S120), and transferring the good from the second entity (D100) to the opened storage (S120). Furthermore, a method for obtaining a good from a storage (S120) of a first entity (C100) is disclosed and devices that allow the implementation of the methods.

  • Publication number: 20050278749
Abstract: An enhanced Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMS+Center) that manipulates photographs contained in MMS messages sent from camera-enabled mobile phones. The Center receives an original photograph in an MMS message together with location information for the camera-enabled mobile phone. Utilizing the location information, an image associated with the location of the mobile phone is extracted from an image database. A photograph manipulator creates a modified photograph by pasting the extracted image into the original photograph. A preview of the modified photograph is sent to the mobile phone for review. If the preview is approved, the MMS+Center sends the modified photograph to the recipient.
