Abstract: The disclosure provides a receptacle for a fluid, in particular an engine oil pan or transmission oil pan for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one, in the installed position, lower drain opening and at least one closing body which can be inserted in the drain opening, the drain opening and the closing body forming parts, configured to be complementary to one another, of a closure which seals the receptacle and the closure being in the form of a bayonet closure. The receptacle according to the disclosure is distinguished by the fact that the closing body is centered in the drain opening by a sealing means.
