Publication number: 20100256250Abstract: A polyurethane foam for thermal insulation at extremely low temperatures. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading “Abstract of the Disclosure.” The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2010Publication date: October 7, 2010Inventors: Jörg Krüger, Mark Müller, Vladimir YAKUSHIN, Ugis CABULIS, Uldis STIRNA

Patent number: 7198252Abstract: The present invention is directed to a housing flange unit which includes a housing flange wherein a butterfly valve shaft is rotatably mounted in a perpendicular position in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing flange and includes a butterfly valve which is arranged in the middle and provided with a first bearing and a second bearing. The butterfly valve shaft includes a circular disk on the outside of the first bearing. The disk engages with a cup-shaped seat of the housing flange. A pot-shaped element with a circular recess is fixed in the cup-shaped seat. The circular disk is embedded in the pot-shaped element. The invention also relates to the use of the housing flange unit as a sealing unit.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2005Date of Patent: April 3, 2007Assignee: Siemens AGInventors: Rolf Anschicks, Jörg Krüger

Patent number: 7144981Abstract: A process for concentrating polymers by evaporation is disclosed. The process entails (i) obtaining a mixture containing a polymer and volatile component, the volatile components being present in the mixture at an amount less than 20 wt. % relative to the weight of the mixture, and (ii) introducing the mixture in a downward direction under pressure through a plurality of nozzles arranged vertically and next to one another into a degassing container to form an extrudate. The volatile component contains at least one of residual monomers, oligomers and solvents, and the throughput of the mixture per nozzle is 0.3 to 2 kg/h. The vapor pressure of the volatile component of the extrudate is more than 2.5 bar, and the absolute pressure in the degassing container is 50 to 5000 Pa. The polymer prepared by the process is characterized in that it contains volatile components in an amount of less than 300 ppm.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2003Date of Patent: December 5, 2006Assignee: Bayer AktiengesellschaftInventors: Thomas König, Klemens Kohlgrüber, Ulrich Liesenfelder, Michael Bierdel, Helmut Meyer, Richard Weider, Jörg Krüger

Patent number: 7089911Abstract: The present invention relates to a throttle-valve housing having a continuous throttle opening for a throttle-valve which is arranged on a throttle-valve shaft, and a housing having a housing cover and a housing body. An electric drive and a first electronic mechanism for the drive are arranged in the housing, for displacing the throttle-valve shaft. The throttle-valve housing is especially non-complex in terms of production and assembly, and can be especially easily connected to other electronic mechanisms of the motor vehicle. To this end, the first electronic mechanism for the electric drive and the second electronic mechanism for appliances outside the housing are arranged in the cover of the housing.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2003Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Siemens AGInventors: Guenther Bender, Thomas Bluemel, Thomas Hannewald, Joerg Krueger, Rainer Montigny, Erwin Schneider, Reiner Weingaertner, Heinz-Werner Wiezorek

Publication number: 20040149946Abstract: The invention relates to a throttle valve housing comprising a housing having a continuous throttle hole that can be cross flown by a gaseous medium in a main flow direction, wherein said throttle valve shaft can be pivoted by an actuating drive and wherein the throttle hole is connected to an inlet line on the inlet side and to an outlet line on the outlet side. The invention aims at ensuring particularly reliable detection of the mass of gaseous medium coming in through the throttle hold, using particularly simple means. This is achieved in that a first temperature sensor for temperature T of the gaseous medium is arranged upstream of the throttle valve and in that a second pressure sensor for pressure P of the gaseous medium is arranged downstream of the throttle valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2003Publication date: August 5, 2004Applicant: SIEMENS AGInventors: Guenther Bender, Axel Goessling, Joerg Krueger
