  • Patent number: 8885804
Abstract: A method and an audio conference device for carrying out an audio conference are disclosed, whereby classification information associated with a respective audio date flow is recorded for supplied audio data flows. According to a result of an evaluation of the classification information, the audio data flows are associated with at least three groups which are homogeneous with regard to the results. The individual audio data flows are processed uniformly in each group in terms of the signals thereof, and said audio data flows processed in this way are superimposed in order to form audio conference data flows to be transmitted to the communication terminals.

  • Patent number: 8478994
Abstract: One network protocol (RTP) each, having data packets (dp) comprising an expandable header (KE) is provided for a data stream (ds1 . . . n) encoded in a manner individual to said data stream, and the key information (si1 . . . n) formed in a data stream manner individual to said data stream is inserted into an expandable header (RTPH) of a data packet (dp) of the respective data stream (ds1 . . . n) and transmitted. The key information (sp1 . . . n) is selected in a manner individual to said data stream from the expanded headers (KE) of received data packets (dp) of the respective data stream (ds1 . . . n), and the associated encoded data stream (ds1 . . . n) is decoded by means of at least one piece of selected data stream individual key information (si1 . . . n). The forming and inserting of key information (si1 . . .

  • Patent number: 8380986
Abstract: In a data stream individually encoded data stream (ds1 . . . n), data packets formed as key data packets (sp1 . . . n) are to be inserted, with which the data stream-individual key information (si1 . . . n) is transmitted with the associated data stream (ds1 . . . n). For analyzing and/or recording, at least one key data packet (sp1 . . . n) is searched for in the associated data stream (ds1 . . . n), and the data stream-individual key information (si1 . . . n) is determined. By means of the data stream-individual key information (si1 . . . n), the associated data stream (ds1 . . . n) is decoded. The generation and insertion of key information (si1 . . . n) can be achieved with minor administrative effort, thus considerably reducing the effort for the analysis or diagnosis (ds1 . . . n) of the simultaneously transmitted, encoded data streams (ds1 . . . n).

Further, an audio conference device and a method for switching between a first encoder and a second encoder for an audio data connection are disclosed, wherein the encoders use, inter alia, encoding parameters influenced by an audio data history, for the encoding process.
