  • Patent number: 9387479
Abstract: In a method of controlling a process in which the particle size of a material is reduced by passing the material through a nip between rollers at least one operational figure, such as the motor current, of at least one motor associated with at least one roller is continuously measured and the nip is adjusted by controlling the operational figure so as to match a target operational figure. A machine for reducing the particle size of a material by passing the material through a nip between rollers has a device for measuring at least one operational figure, such as the motor current, of at least one motor associated with at least one roller and a device for adjusting the nip on the basis of the measured operational figure matching a target operational figure.

  • Publication number: 20140041767
Abstract: A hot-rolled flat steel product having a tensile strength of at least 1100 MPa, good elongation properties, and good deformation properties. The flat steel product is produced from a complex phase steel, which contains, in addition to iron and inevitable impurities (in % by weight), C: 0.13-0.2%, Mn: 1.8-2.5%, Si: 0.70-1.3%, Al: 0.01 to 0.1%, P: up to 0.1%, S: up to 0.01%, Cr: 0.25-0.70%, optionally Mo, the total of the Cr and Mo contents being 0.25-0.7%, Ti: 0.08-0.2%, B: 0.0005-0.005%, and a structure which consists of at the most 10% by volume of residual austenite, 10-60% by volume of martensite, at the most 30% by volume of ferrite and at least 10% by volume of bainite. Also, a method for producing such a flat steel product.

  • Patent number: 6186286
Abstract: A braking device for wheels of vehicles such as trailers includes a caliper in which brake linings are guided. Between these linings, at least one brake disk is displaceably held on driving toothing of a wheel hub. A pneumatically operable mechanical adjusting device interacts with the brake linings. The braking device includes at least one brake disk in a caliper which is fixed. On one end, the caliper is connected by a fastening element with an axle element of the vehicle. On the caliper, an enclosing housing for bearing the adjusting device is held. By way of a bearing plate, the adjusting device is also supported on the caliper. Pressure pistons of the device are guided by a one-part yoke in a jointly axially adjustable manner and can be acted upon by pressure with respect to the brake linings and the brake disks.
