  • Patent number: 10763920
Abstract: A sensor device includes a first detector circuit, a near field communication (NFC) circuit, and a sensor package. The first detector circuit configured to detect a stimulus using a resistive change polymer type detector, a capacitive shift polymer type detector, a dielectric change polymer type detector, a graphene based sensor, or a metal-oxide (MOX) type detector. The NFC circuit having an NFC powered receiver and an NFC data transceiver. The NFC power receiver configured to receive power from a mobile device using an NFC standard protocol and to provide operating power for the sensor device. The NFC data transceiver configured to transmit data to the mobile device using the NFC standard protocol, the data corresponding to the first stimulus. The sensor package configured to house the first detector circuit and the NFC circuit.

  • Publication number: 20170190080
Abstract: In a process for producing a composite element having at least a covering layer and polyurethane foam, the covering layer is inserted into a mold and a polyurethane reaction mixture is introduced onto the covering layer. The polyurethane reaction mixture is reacted to form a polyurethane foam, wherein the polyurethane reaction mixture is obtained by mixing a) polyisocyanate with b) compounds having isocyanate-reactive OH groups, c) blowing agents including water, d) thickeners and e) catalysts. Bis(N,N-dimethylaminoethoxyethyl) carbamate, N,N,N-trimethyl-N-hydroxyethylbis(aminopropyl ether), N,N,N-trimethyl-N-hydroxyethyl(aminoethyl ether) or mixtures thereof and/or tetramethyldiaminoethyl ether are employed as catalysts and the polyurethane foam has a density of not more than 200 g/dm3.

  • Publication number: 20140072753
Abstract: The present invention relates to processes for producing sandwich elements, where the sandwich elements comprise a rigid polyurethane foam as core foam surrounded entirely or to some extent by a plastics resin comprising reinforcing-agent layers, by producing the rigid polyurethane foam on the reinforcing-agent layers and then saturating the reinforcing-agent layers in a liquid resin and hardening the resin. The present invention further relates to sandwich elements that can be produced by a process of the invention, and also to the use of these sandwich elements as wind-turbine blade, aircraft wing, wind-turbine nacelle, boat-hull, or housing for vehicles.
