Publication number: 20240395484Abstract: A housing for a vacuum interrupter accommodates an axially movable moving contact rod, which carries a moving contact, and a fixed contact rod, which carries a fixed contact. The arrangement of the moving contact rod and the fixed contact rod in the housing defines a division of the housing into a moving contact half and a fixed contact half. In each of the moving contact half and the fixed contact half, a portion of the housing surrounding the longitudinal axis of the housing is formed by an electrically insulating insulation component. The insulation component in the moving contact half and the insulation component of the fixed contact half have different dimensions.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 16, 2022Publication date: November 28, 2024Inventors: Christian Stiehler, Frank Graskowski, Erik D Taylor, Jörg Teichmann, Thomas Heinz

Patent number: 10539204Abstract: A device (1) for supporting an equipment (2), especially an upstanding electrical equipment from vibrations is disclosed. The device comprises a base plate (3), a set of support adapters (7), a set of viscous dampers (5) connecting the base plate to the support adapters and a set of wire rope dampers (6), wherein the set of wire rope dampers bear the base plate and connect the base plate to the support adapters. Further, the set of support adapters connect the viscous dampers and the wire rope dampers to a foundation plate by bolts or alternatively to a shake table via shake table adapters. A set of angular fixtures connect the support adapters to the base plate by means of the viscous dampers. In a preferred embodiment of the device the base plate is orthogonally shaped.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2018Date of Patent: January 21, 2020Assignee: ITT Manufacturing Enterprises LLCInventors: Juan Arias-Acosta, Helmut Holler, Antonios Kopanoudis, Christos Kotanidis, Shubin Ruan, Jörg Teichmann, Tom Zemanek, Achim Von Seck

Patent number: 9230760Abstract: A vacuum interrupter has a housing with at least a first metal flange through which a first connection pin extends into the vacuum interrupter in a vacuum-tight manner to a first contact. The housing has at least one insulating-material housing region formed by a disc-like insulator. A second connection pin extends into the vacuum interrupter in a vacuum-tight manner to a second contact. The vacuum interrupter can be produced in a cost-effective manner with a compact construction. There is also described a switch pole for a switching device having a vacuum interrupter.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2012Date of Patent: January 5, 2016Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Martin Böttcher, Frank Graskowski, Christoph Luft, Ulf Schümann, Gernot Swiatkowski, Jörg Teichmann

Patent number: 6307308Abstract: At least main electrodes for a low pressure gas discharge arranged at a distance from each other are present in such switches, the main electrodes forming a cathode and an anode of a discharge path in an interrupter chamber for the gas discharge which is fired by increasing electron density in a cathode cavity. For this purpose, at least the cathodes have at least one opening, preferably the cathode and anode, having opposite aligned openings for triggering the discharge. In such an arrangement, an arrangement for the generation of a magnetic field superimposed on the discharge may be present. At least one slot is present in at least one of the main planar electrodes for generating a radial magnetic field. A single slot maybe provided which runs in the form of a spiral from the area of the electrode center to the area of the electrode edge.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1999Date of Patent: October 23, 2001Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Jörg Teichmann, Michael Römheld

Patent number: 6012777Abstract: A headrest mount has a rod having an upper end adapted to carry a headrest, extending along an axis, and formed with a plurality of axially spaced and radially outwardly open notches and a socket fitting having a tube in which the rod is axially centered and slidable and a head axially traversed by the rod and forming a slide compartment having upper and lower confronting planar surfaces extending generally perpendicular to the axis. A generally rectangular and wholly plastic slide plate in the slide compartment is formed with a central aperture through which the rod passes and has a pair of axially oppositely directed planar faces respectively engaging the surfaces of the compartment. The slide plate is a snug fit between the compartment surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 1998Date of Patent: January 11, 2000Assignee: Grammer Automotive GmbHInventors: Lutz Wege, Mathias Patzold, Jorg Teichmann
