  • Publication number: 20120273126
Abstract: A system and method for laminating a module. The system comprises a membrane adapted to apply a pressure on the module to press a plurality of layers of the module together, an intermediate member adapted to prevent gases set free during a lamination process from making contact with the membrane, and a base for retaining the module, wherein the membrane and the base are capable of forming a vacuum chamber.

  • Publication number: 20120138236
Abstract: The machine has a heated plate, a conveyor for conveying the elements along a conveyor path leading across the heated plate, a top part vertically movable with respect to the heated plate, a membrane disposed on the top part and a separating film disposed between the membrane and the heated plate which can be moved synchronously with the conveyor. The separating film is divided into sections and every section is retained exclusively by a single edge oriented transversely to the conveying path by a retaining device. The sections therefore sit loosely on the elements free of tension. The membrane lies against a peripherally extending peripheral face of the top part facing the heated plate and can be moved directly onto the plane of the surface of the heated plate in order to form a closed chamber with it. Finally, the membrane is connected to a clamping device.

  • Publication number: 20120073746
Abstract: Processes and apparatus for producing laminated solar panels built up of a plurality of layers, wherein at least one layer is preheated and stores thermal energy. The at least one layer is laminated, under vacuum or in controlled gas atmosphere, with at least one other layer.

  • Patent number: 8122929
Abstract: The machine (1) has a heated plate (5), conveyor means (6) for conveying the elements (4) along a conveyor path leading across the heated plate (5), a top part (8) which can be moved vertically with respect to the heated plate (5), a membrane (9) disposed on the top part (8) and a separating film (10) disposed between the membrane (9) and the heated plate (5) which can be moved synchronously with the conveyor means. The separating film (10) is divided into sections (11) and every section (11) is retained exclusively by a single edge oriented transversely to the conveying path by retaining means (32). The sections (11) therefore sit loosely on the elements (4) free of tension. The membrane (9) lies against a peripherally extending peripheral face (46) of the top part (8) facing the heated plate (5) and can be moved directly onto the plane of the surface of the heated plate (5) in order to form a closed chamber with it. Finally, the membrane (9) is connected to clamping means (25, 26, 27).

  • Publication number: 20100019432
Abstract: The invention describes a spacing element (33) for spacing apart if necessary plate-like elements (4) of a tempering element (25), with a carrier element (35), which comprises a first end area (36) which can face the plate-like element (4). In the section of the first end area (36) a flexible support element (37) is arranged, which projects beyond the carrier element (35). Furthermore, the invention also comprises a machine (1) with a spacing element (33).

  • Patent number: 7637308
Abstract: The heating plate (1) has cavities (2), in which electrically heatable heating bodies (3) are disposed. A heat exchange medium circulated by a pump (4) transmits the heat emitted by the heating bodies (3). The heating plate is designed to obtain a uniform temperature distribution using as low a volume of heat exchange medium as possible. To this end, the cavities (2) are elongate and the heating bodies (3) are bar-shaped.
