The outer surface of the pneumatic suspension piston has cylindrical and conical parts which form a rolling contour which is not rotationally symmetrical with respect to the damping axis and which is adapted to the effective diameter of the inclined loop of the pneumatic suspension bellows in that the effective diameter is substantially parallel to the preferably rounded edges of the rolling contour.
