    Abstract: A film dressing, in particular for the human or animal body, consisting of a flexible, conformable polymer film which is detachably bonded on the side facing away from the skin to a supporting sheet and is provided on the side facing the skin with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is in turn provided with an at least two-part protecting layer which can be pulled off, is characterized in that the protecting layer has hinge-like connections at two opposite edges to the supporting sheet.
