  • Patent number: 10505910
Abstract: A patient monitor for monitoring a patient includes a sensor interface (106), a communication interface (108), a user interface (114), and a patient identification unit (115) for identifying the patient to be monitored. A processor (120) processes obtained sensor signals, received information and/or user input to obtain patient-related data, and a controller (121) controls said communication interface (108) to retrieve patient context information including information related to the patient, once the patient has been identified by the patient identification unit (115), available in a central administration system (102) from said central administration system (102) and/or other patient monitors (100b-100n) and controls said processor (120) to take received patient context information into account in the processing to obtain patient-related data.

  • Patent number: 6400559
Abstract: The described current distributor has a bus bar, a plug socket connected to the bus bar, at least one contact element which comprises an access connection, a consumer tapping and an element connecting the access connection and the consumer tapping, at least one plug connection for the plug contacts of a protective switch, which has a plug socket of the bus bar and an access socket of a contact element, and two signaling lines. In order to produce such a current distributor inexpensively and to ensure reliability of operation, it is provided in accordance with the invention that the contact element comprises a one-piece member.

  • Patent number: 5802060
Abstract: A data network comprises a plurality of spatially distributed stations whose access to the network is controlled by a token. In a process for real-time transmission of data packets through the data network, the following steps are carried out in each of the stations: assigning a priority step to each data packet to be transmitted depending on the dwell time of the data packet in the station, and summing up the data amounts of the respective data packets having the same priority step; reserving in the token, send capacity required for transmitting data packets, said reservation being effected in dependence upon the send capacity available, the priority and the data amount of the data packets to be transmitted from this station, and information which is contained in the token and which concerns the priority and the data amount of data packets to be transmitted from other stations; and transmitting the data packets corresponding to the reserved send capacity when the token is next received.
