    Abstract: A module cover for a battery module, which has a cell unit with at least one battery cell which includes a releasable vent opening. The module cover has a first region, which is associated with a vent opening region of the cell unit, in which the releasable vent opening of the at least one battery cell is arranged, and at least one second region different from the first region, which is associated with a cell region of the cell unit that is different from the vent opening region of the cell unit. The first region and the at least one second region of the module cover respectively include a plastic material. The at least one second region is formed with a continuous fiber reinforcement embedded in the plastic material and the first region is formed without a continuous fiber reinforcement.

The first free space is between the first side of the cell pack and the first housing side and a second free space is between the second side and the second housing side. Furthermore, a second heat-conducting compound is filled into the second free space overlapping in time with the filling of the first heat-conducting compound into the first free space.
