  • Publication number: 20240240667
Abstract: A radial foil bearing includes a carrier foil formed from a corrugated foil, a first curved segment formed from a first top foil and a second curved segment formed from a second top foil. The second curved segment is arranged successively on the carrier foil after the first curved segment to form a tubular carrier comprising two curved segments when the carrier foil is rolled. In an embodiment, the carrier foil has a first end and a second end, and, after the carrier foil is rolled to form the tubular carrier, the tubular carrier has a circumferentially closed shape and the first end faces the second end.

  • Publication number: 20100192401
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for processing wet material, in particular sewage sludge, having a plurality of drying stages. At least one high-temperature drying stage 2 and at least one low-temperature drying stage 10 are provided, wherein the waste heat of the at least one high-temperature drying stage 2 is used for heating the at least one low-temperature drying stage 10. Great savings in energy and economic efficiency can thereby be achieved. In addition, the invention relates to a plant for carrying out the process.

  • Patent number: 5021469
Abstract: The inventive vehicle, or binder, for water based gloss paints contains, dispersed in a aqueous phase, particles of a multiphase emulsion polymer made up of(a) core material having a glass transition temperature exceeding 40.degree. C. and(b) a shell material having a glass transition temperature of less than 70.degree. C. and at least 20 K. below that of the core material. The particles have an average diameter of less than 200 nm. The composition of the shell material includes an emulsion polymer with at least 4 percent by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and more than 80 percent by weight of one or more monomers from the group consisting of styrene and alkyl esters of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid. Paint coats produced with this vehicle are distinguished by a high blocking point.
