  • Patent number: 12201765
Abstract: Two sub-methods are used together to produce a nozzle unit for a liquid dispenser. The methods include adding a nozzle plate into a nozzle channel of a nozzle unit using an assembly tool which elastically expands the nozzle channel. The assembly tool is inserted in the nozzle channel and expands same, thus moving the nozzle plate into its final position where it remains after the assembly tool is removed. The methods also include attaching a filter to a nozzle unit carrier. In a preparation step, a flat filter material is positioned on the end face of the carrier. Only after the filter material is positioned and a connection of the filter material to the end face is established, a separation process is carried out by which the filter material is cut to surround the end face. The filter material positioned on the end face and cut in situ remains.

  • Publication number: 20240415173
Abstract: A fluid dispenser for discharging a nicotine and/or cannabis-containing fluid as a replacement for tobacco products consumed by burning same, including a fluid store for storing the fluid before output, a mouthpiece for discharging the fluid, a connecting fluid channel and an outlet valve assembly, with which the fluid channel is opened and closed. The outlet valve assembly has an elastically deformable tube section forming part of the fluid channel, and an actuation surface is located on an outer side of the dispenser for actuating the outlet valve assembly. This actuation surface is coupled to a tube-shaping segment, with which the tube section is deformed from a state in which the fluid channel is closed into a state in which the fluid channel is open by applying force to the actuation surface, to thereby allow for the discharge of fluid.

  • Publication number: 20240382342
Abstract: A drop dispenser for discharging a liquid in drops. The drop dispenser has a liquid reservoir for storing the liquid prior to discharge and a discharge opening associated with a drop-forming geometry. The drop dispenser has a pump device for pumping liquid out of the liquid reservoir and to the discharge opening so that the liquid collects on the drop-forming geometry and is released from the drop-forming geometry when a sufficient quantity of liquid is collected. The drop dispenser has a flat housing, within which the liquid reservoir and the pump device are arranged, and the outer shape of the flat housing has a maximum width orthogonally to a main axis of the housing, the maximum width being at least 25% greater than a maximum thickness of the outer shape of the housing orthogonally to the main axis and orthogonally to the width. An actuation handle actuates the pump device.

  • Publication number: 20240269371
Abstract: A liquid dispenser having a liquid reservoir for storing liquid, an elongated nasal applicator, a nozzle plate with a plurality of nozzle openings at a distal end of the nasal applicator through which liquid is discharged, and a conveying device conveying liquid from the liquid reservoir to the nozzle openings. The conveying device has a movable pressure element serving to pressurize the liquid for discharge. The conveying device has an actuating handle, displaceable for the purpose of actuation, from a starting position into an actuated end position. The actuating handle and the pressure element are connected via a spring accumulator loaded by displacement of the actuating handle into the end position and which accumulator subsequently moves the pressure element. The actuating force stored in the accumulator subsequently continues to move the pressure element once actuation has already concluded and thus brings about an ongoing discharge.

  • Publication number: 20240148991
Abstract: What is proposed is a nasal dispenser (10) for the nasal application of liquids in atomized form, in particular for children. The nasal dispenser (10) has a nasal applicator (40) which is for dispensing the liquid and is formed by an outer component and an inner component, which together define a vortex chamber and at least one inlet channel into the vortex chamber. In the case of components that are stationary in relation to one another, especially tapered inlet channels (96) for generating a high liquid velocity in the vortex chamber (98) are proposed. The cross-sectional area of the inlet channel (96), that is aligned transversely to the flow direction (4) in the inlet channel, at its narrowest point or the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the inlet channels, that are aligned transversely to the flow direction (4) in the inlet channels (96), at their respective narrowest points is at most 0.05 mm2.
