  • Patent number: 9827877
Abstract: A release device for the upper rail and the lower rail of a longitudinal seat adjustment system of a motor vehicle seat, the release device having a lever rotatably supported on the upper rail of the seat. An end of the lever interacts with the locking means and optionally releases the locking means. A handle is provided at the other end. If the handle is operated, the lever moves relative to the upper rail from a passive position to a release position and moves the locking means from a locking position to a releasing position. So the release device automatically moves into a passive position of the release device, a spring element is provided, which preloads the lever into the passive position of the lever. The spring element additionally supports the lever on the upper rail.

Abstract: The invention relates to a release device for the upper rail and the lower rail of a longitudinal seat adjustment system of a motor vehicle seat. A release device is provided, which release device has a lever that preferably rotatably supported on the upper rail of the vehicle seat. An end of said lever interacts with the locking means and optionally releases the locking means. A handle is provided at the other end. If said handle is operated, the lever moves, preferably rotates, relative to the upper rail from a passive position of the lever to a release position of the lever and moves the locking means from a locking position of the locking means to a releasing position. In order to ensure that the release device automatically moves into a passive position of the release device, in which passive position the release device does not interact with the locking means in a releasing manner, a spring element is provided, which preloads the lever into the passive position of the lever.

  • Patent number: 7204467
Abstract: In a longitudinal adjuster (1) for a vehicle seat, in particular for an automobile seat, with a first seat rail (3), a second seat rail (4) adapted for sliding movement relative to the first seat rail (3), and an engagement member (8) arranged on the second seat rail (4), the first seat rail (3) includes a stop plate (15) with first stop surfaces. The first stop surfaces cooperate with second stop surfaces of the engagement member (8) for limiting the movement of the seat rail (3, 4).

  • Patent number: 6244620
Abstract: The invention relates to a steering wheel for motor vehicles, the steering wheel comprising a steering wheel axis, a skeleton surrounded by a foam casing, and an airbag module. The airbag module has a generator support connected with the skeleton and a covering cap fastened to the generator support. The covering cap is designed as an actuating device for generating a horn signal. At least two recesses are provided in the foam casing of the steering wheel skeleton and on the generator support insert pins are provided corresponding to the recesses. The pins have axes aligned parallel to the steering wheel axis. Further, the pins serve for centering the covering cap relative to the foam casing of the steering wheel skeleton in a plane perpendicular to the steering wheel axis.
