  • Patent number: 10359235
Abstract: An industrial production plant including at least one reactor for producing a flue gas and including a heat exchanger system having a first heat exchanger section for heat exchange between the flue gas and a fluid and a second heat exchanger section for heat exchange between the flue gas and reaction air for the reactor, which can be preheated by the second heat exchanger section. The first heat exchanger section is configured as a double-tube heat exchanger with first tubes each arranged one-way in a respective first jacket tube, and the second heat exchanger section is configured as a tube bundle heat exchanger with a tube bundle of second tubes arranged in a second jacket tube and each arranged one-way in the jacket tube.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 21, 2016
Date of Patent: July 23, 2019
    Assignee: ARVOS GMBH
Inventors: Silke Jagusch, Jürgen Lauer, Gregory Gene Homoki, James Francis Geisler

  • Patent number: 7377773
Abstract: This invention relates to a method to further enhance NOx reduction in rotary preheater mineral kilns by coupling the temperature control and gas composition uniformity afforded by the high temperature mixing with the use of chemical reducing agents. The chemical reducing agent or agents, generally chosen from ammonia or ammonia precursors, are introduced at a specific point in the rotary preheater kiln which has as an optimal temperature window to achieve the greatest reduction of NOx emissions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 3, 2006
Date of Patent: May 27, 2008
    Assignee: Chemical Lime Company
Inventors: Paul S. Nolan, Robert F. Kohl, Juergen Lauer, Kerry Seitz

  • Patent number: 6199845
Abstract: In a spring support for a suspension strut of a motor vehicle, a spring collar is provided for supporting a coil spring. The spring support is connected in use with an outer tube of the spring strut. The spring collar comprises a pot-shaped receptacle for the outer tube of the spring strut. The collar is located eccentrically with respect to the outer tube and receptacle and has an annular spring coil support section located at an edge of the collar. This spring support section is connected with the pot-shaped receptacle by ribs that extend like the arms of a star toward the receptacle and have spaces between them. The spring support, including pot-shaped receptacle, ribs and annular spring coil support section, are formed as an integral cast part.
