Abstract: The invention relates to fuel compositions containing over 50% percent by weight diesel, gasoline, kerosene, or other hydrocarbons which are liquid at room temperature. Abstract: Processes for preparing alkylene glycol esters of dimer fatty acids according to the general formula (I): H—(OR)n—O(O)C—R1—C(O)O—(RO)n—H  (I) wherein R1 represents a hydrocarbon radical of a dimer fatty acid having from about 24 to about 44 carbon atoms, and each R independently represents an alkyl radical having from about 2 to about 3 carbon atoms, and each n independently represents a number of from about 0.25 to about 3.0, are described. The device for hot-sealing these stitching threads has a sealing element which is provided with a contact surface which touches the material to be stitched during the sealing operation. During the sealing operation, the contact surface moves essentially at the same speed as the material to be stitched.
