  • Publication number: 20190309545
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a locking mechanism for a storage compartment with a lid, such as for a storage compartment with a lid for a vehicle interior. The disclosure further relates to a storage compartment with a lid comprising such a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a first stop, a locking element and a collision element. The locking element has a hook, wherein the hook for locking the locking mechanism is pivotable from a first position into a second position and vice versa. In the second position, the hook engages at least in part behind the first stop. In the event of an accident the locking element can be plastically deformed so that an opening of the storage compartment is prevented.

  • Patent number: 5938100
Abstract: Stapling devices, which form staples from a staple wire transported from supply rolls, are arranged in a stapling apparatus. The supply rolls are associated with a threading-in device which is mounted displaceably on the stapling apparatus. Transport mechanisms as well as feed-in and guide mechanisms are associated with each supply roll. Flexible guide tubes connect the threading-in device to the respective stapling device. The threading-in device can be moved into a position pulled out of the stapling apparatus device, in which the supply rolls can easily be inserted. The leading end of the wire is pushed, in simple and conveniently visible fashion, between a transport roller pair by way of a guide element and a funnel-shaped feed-in tube.

  • Patent number: 5938388
Abstract: A staple wire supply roll is positioned on a threading-in device that can be moved out of a stapling apparatus, and the leading end of the wire is transported by means of a thread-in transport device, through a flexible guide tube, to a stapling device. A sensor positioned on the stapling device signals the end of the threading-in operation when the leading end of the staple wire passes by. By pushing the threading-in device into the apparatus, the staple wire transport device of the stapling device is set in motion, as a result of which the leading end of the staple wire is transported to a location which positions the leading end of the wire in device. The staple wire is transported, in accordance with the thickness of the sheet stack measured by a sensor, by a stepping motor, which at the same time drives a radial cam unit.

  • Patent number: 5836576
Abstract: An apparatus for removing copies and/or documents from a machine has a catch and removal tray (2) which can be extended telescopically out of the machine (1). The catch and removal tray (2) consists of a fixed section (3) inside the machine (1) and a movable section (4) which can be drawn out of the machine (1). The fixed section of the tray (3) acts as a catch tray for documents processed by the machine (1) and has a drive mechanism (6, 7, 19) which drives a sliding panel (5) which extends downwards into the fixed section of the tray (3) and which pushes the stack of documents (8) from the fixed section of the tray (3) into the extended movable section of the tray (4). The fixed section of the tray (3) has a photoelectric cell (20) which activates the sliding panel (5) when the stack of documents reaches the maximum height.

  • Patent number: 5161724
Abstract: In a stapling device for sheet stacks 9 in which at least one stapling head 1 is provided whose drive 11 is actuated by a switching mechanism, the switching mechanism cooperating with a sensor sensing the thickness of the sheet stack to be stapled. The sensor has a movable sensing element in the form of a pressure member 17, 25 which, during sensing movement, presses a broadside of sheet stack 9 against an abutment 27 so that the thickness of sheet stack 9, positioned between the abutment 27 and the pressure member 17, 25, limits the path length of the sensing movement of the pressure member 17, 25.
