    Abstract: An electromechanical latch module for a door is provided. Here, all electric or electronic components are situated in an electronics installation space which is encapsulated in a dust-tight and watertight manner and is disposed in a latch housing on the external side of the door. The module is able to be mounted on doors having the two most common hole patterns, and also in combination with a bar lock. An additional external cover for the lock cylinder is not required.
