  • Patent number: 8134313
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for moving and/or opening and closing at least one drawer, flap, door, or similar. The device comprises at least one-drive unit (9) that is effectively connected to the drawer, flap, door, or similar, at least one control and regulation unit (1) for the at least one drive unit (9), and at least one sensor unit (2) for detecting the direction of rotation and/or the number of rotations of the drive shaft of the drive unit (9), the number and/or the direction of rotation being fed to the control and regulation unit (1). A timer (5) is provided that starts a given interval when rotations of the drive shaft are detected which are not generated by the drive unit (9) while at least one comparing unit (3,4) is provided in which a lower threshold value can be stored for the rotations or partial rotations of the drive shaft detected by the sensor unit (2) within the given interval.

  • Patent number: 8026686
Abstract: A method for configuration of a device for controlling the movement of a plurality of movable furniture parts which can be moved in a driven manner relative to a stationary furniture part by means of a drive unit and a monitoring unit for monitoring the movement of the movable furniture parts. In order to match the movement of the movable furniture parts, at least an inner furniture part is associated with an outer furniture part such that, when a configuration mode is activated, the association of the at least one inner furniture part with the outer furniture part is created by a sequence of opening and/or closing movements of the movable furniture parts that are associated with one another.

  • Patent number: 7816880
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the movement of a moveable furniture part which can be moved, in a driven manner, relative to a stationary furniture part by means of a drive unit via a monitoring unit for monitoring the movement of the moveable furniture part. According to the invention, the monitoring unit can be operated in an operating mode and in a configuration mode, with the monitoring unit being designed to use additional means to enter a configuration mode in which the device can be configured. In addition, the invention relates to a piece of furniture having a device such as this.

  • Patent number: 7812561
Abstract: A device for controlling the movement of furniture parts which can be moved with respect to one another, using a drive unit by means of which a first furniture part can be moved in a driven manner relative to a second furniture part via a monitoring unit for monitoring the movement of the first furniture part, in which case the monitoring unit is designed such that, after starting up, the monitoring unit operates in accordance with a monitoring program for monitoring the movement of the first furniture part, with selection means being provided by means of which an alternative selection program can be activated, instead of the monitoring program, in order to monitor the movement of the first furniture part. The invention also relates to a piece of furniture including the device.

  • Patent number: 7688015
Abstract: The invention relates to a piece of furniture and to a device for moving a first furniture part relative to a second furniture part using a drive unit by means of which the first furniture part can be moved, in the driven manner, relative to the second furniture part via a monitoring unit for movement monitoring of the first furniture part. In order to adopt a position better between the furniture parts, the monitoring unit is designed to preset a movement of the first furniture part through a predefined movement distance away from a mechanical stop after a movement of the first furniture part to a position which is defined by the mechanical stop, with the first furniture part being locked in the position that is reached, as a final position.

  • Publication number: 20090140620
Abstract: An article of furniture (11, 11?, 11?) has a first furniture part and at least one second furniture part that can be motor-driven in relation to the first furniture part. The at least one second furniture part may be a drawer (2; 13, 14, 15; 19, 20, 24) that can be displaced in relation to at least one body (1; 16; 21, 22, 23) of the first furniture part. An electric power supply device is arranged on the first furniture part. A control device may be provided to stop the moveable second furniture part from displacing from its initial position into its final position before it is displaced as far as an immediately adjacent moveable furniture part that is already in an open position.

  • Patent number: 6249737
Abstract: A parking brake system for vehicles, in particular passenger cars, with an extraneous force generating adjusting unit for tightening or loosening at least one actuating pull for a braking arrangement on the vehicle and having an electronic control device whose output variable is used to actuate the adjusting unit. Input variables, in particular from an operating arrangement, sensors and or switches are fed to the control device and the output variable van be varied as a function of the input variable. A force sensor is disposed on or the actuating pull for directly detecting the force exerted thereon. The signals from the force sensor are fed to the control device as an input variable.
