  • Publication number: 20250195781
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for a computerized framework that electronically manages and controls a patient's therapy for proper administration of diabetic treatment. The framework includes a disposable pen injector that has integrated therein dose logging capabilities (e.g., a NFC circuit) for controlling the administration of the prescribed therapy. Electronic communications between the disposable pen injector and a therapy control application executing on a patient's device can effectuate accurate and efficient administration of prescribed therapy. The pen can communicate information to the patient's device, and the application executing thereon, that includes dosage information related to availability left in the pen, timing of doses, and the like. In a related manner, the application can compile dosage planning information that can dictate types of doses, amounts of doses, timing of doses, and the like, to ensure that the patient is complying with a prescribed diabetic prescription.

  • Patent number: 12268838
Abstract: A medical device for infusing medical substances has activation buttons accessible on an exterior of a device housing. The activation buttons and corresponding electrical switches within the device housing are configured to prevent inadvertent activation of the activation buttons and therefore inadvertent operation of the corresponding electrical switches to initiate a process such as the infusion of medical substance(s) to a user. The medical device employs overlap of respective time traces initiated by activation of the activation buttons to determine whether the activation is intended and valid. These respective time traces do not have to be initiated simultaneously or in any particular sequence. The activation buttons can be elastomeric overmolded buttons set within cutouts in the device housing, and, when depressed, make physical contact with the corresponding electrical switches.

  • Patent number: 12206840
Abstract: Light from an array of laser light sources are spread to cover the modulating face of a DMD or other modulator. The spread may be performed, for example, by a varying curvature array of lenslets, each laser light directed at one of the lenslets. Light from neighboring and/or nearby light sources overlap at a modulator. The lasers are energized at different energy/brightness levels causing the light illuminating the modulator to itself be modulated (locally dimmed). The modulator then further modulates the locally dimmed lights to produce a desired image. A projector according to the invention may utilize, for example, a single modulator sequentially illuminated or separate primary color modulators simultaneously illuminated.
