  • Publication number: 20220023413
Abstract: A recombinant, attenuated mumps virus is described. The recombinant virus is based on the genotype A Jeryl Lynn vaccine strain, but is modified to express genotype G consensus fusion (F) and hemagglutinin-neuraminidase (HN) proteins. The recombinant virus optionally includes a mutation that prevents expression of viral protein V. The recombinant mumps virus can be used as a vaccine to inhibit mumps virus infection and the development of mumps disease.

  • Publication number: 20100290831
Abstract: Coupling assemblies (2) are utilized to assemble a storage cube (1) having a top member (10), right member (12), bottom member (14) and left member (16). Adjacent members are coupled together through the use of T-tongues (20, 40, 44, 48) received within corresponding ones of T-slots (18, 38, 42, 46). The T-tongues and T-slots terminate certain distances (24, 36) from edges of the members (10, 12, 14, 16) thereby providing for blind configurations allowing for edges of members (10, 12, 14, 16) to be profiled, finished or otherwise decorated.

  • Publication number: 20050069558
Abstract: The present invention provides machine readable media embedded with the three-dimensional molecular structure coordinates of SARS-CoV main protease and subsets thereof, including binding pockets, methods of using the structure to identify and design affecters, including inhibitors and activator, mutants of SARS Mpro, SARS Mpro crystals, and compounds and compositions that affect SARS Mpro activity.

  • Patent number: 4477219
Abstract: A dispensing machine for the dispensing and aligning of individual articles on a receiving surface is disclosed. The dispensing machine has clamping arms for holding the articles in a stationary position. Jaws are positioned adjacent the receiving surface. The clamping arms act to regulate the supply of articles such that only one article is dispensed at a time. The jaws allow the article to be dispensed onto the receiving surface and further acts to align the article in a precise location. The clamping arms and the jaws are operated by a slide member which causes the clamping arms to engage and disengage and also opens and closes the jaws.

  • Patent number: 4341380
Abstract: A therapeutic device comprising a base, usually resting upon a floor, and a platform, usually located above the base that is maintained rigidly parallel to the base in a horizontal plane throughout up and down cycles. The platform is attached either with (a) pivotally attached arm(s) or by (b) freely operating sleeve(s) on to one or more vertical extensions or rigid attachments to/of the base. The platform, upon which the user is located, is moved up and down in a cycle initiated and maintained by the sustained activity of a spring suspension, or by, or in combination with, a motor driven reciprocal drive. This up and down cycle of accelerating and decelerating in line with extant gravitational pull occurs resultant strengthening of the body cells and organs, and stimulates circulation and body functions for the occupant user.
