Abstract: Methods and systems for treating a spinal joint with a facet joint replacement. The prosthesis can include a first component having a first articulating surface and a second component having a second articulating surface. The first component is attached to a superior articulating facet and the second component is attached to an inferior articulating facet. The first articulating surface and the second articulating surface articulate with each other and allow for multiple degrees of movement of the facet joint without fusing the joint.

Abstract: A device for absorbing and retaining sweat that includes at least one moisture-wicking layer and an absorbent core layer. The device may further include a liquid impervious layer, wherein the absorbent core layer is positioned in between the moisture-wicking layer and the liquid impervious layer. The device may be a disposable insert to be positioned on the inside of headwear or it may be a disposable band capable of securing around a user's head.

Abstract: A disposable absorbent insert for fitting against a forehead-contacting, curved inside surface of a user's athletic head covering includes a moisture wicking layer; a liquid absorbent core layer; a liquid impervious layer; an adhesive layer comprising a repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive; and a release liner layer. A top edge of the insert includes a plurality of slits to facilitate fitting of the insert onto the curved inside surface of the athletic head covering. A method of using a disposable absorbent insert on a forehead-contacting, curved inside surface of a user's athletic head covering is also described.
