    Abstract: Methods and systems for localizing an asset using the modulated backscatter from an asset tag and one or more marker tags are described. The system includes the reader, a location module and one or more marker tags. The location estimates for the asset tag are based partially on a prior knowledge of the location of each of the one or more marker tags. The location for each marker tag may be stored in a database. The location module determines a location estimate for the asset tag using the estimated parameters of the modulated backscatter signals received from one or more marker tags and from the asset tag. Using the known locations of the marker tags, a location estimate of the asset tag can be determined. The location estimate may be a relative location, an absolute location, and/or may be a zone including the marker tags. A mobile reader using the marker tags can localize asset tags throughout a large area and may, for example, take an inventory of assets throughout the large area.

Centering assemblies are disposed within each end of the bore and have a plurality of projections extending radially outward from at least a partial central ring disposed around a portion of each end of the electrical conductor assembly, at least one centering assembly comprising a radial opening in the central ring adapted to receive the electrical conductor assembly. The first and second ends of the electrical conductor assembly are substantially aligned to the central axis of the bore at each end by the centering assemblies, the centering assemblies being adapted to allow fluid to pass through the bore.

    Abstract: In one aspect of the invention, a system for removing a layer of a paved surface includes a vehicle adapted to traverse a paved surface in a selected direction. A milling drum attached to the vehicle may be adapted to rotate around an axle substantially normal the selected direction of the vehicle. A moldboard may be positioned rearward of the milling drum and also connected to the vehicle. The moldboard may comprise an end that is adapted to push aggregate removed from the paved surface in the selected direction. A plurality of nozzles may be disposed proximate the end of the moldboard which may also be in communication with a fluid reservoir through a fluid pathway.
