    Abstract: A eustachian tube prosthesis comprising a flanged tube which is positioned in the eustachian tube passageway. The flange is located below the anterior annulus of the middle ear cavity. One end of the tube lies within the middle ear cavity and the other end lies within the eustachian tube passageway. The prosthesis is implanted by lifting the tympanic membrane and inserting the tube past the membrane and into position within the eustachian tube passageway.
