    Abstract: In a controller of a battery unit, a current determination part determines a current value for controlling a DC link voltage based on an instruction value and measured value of the DC link voltage. A current restriction part imposes a restriction on the current value determined by the current determination part to be between received upper and lower limit values. By using a same value for the upper and lower limit vales of the current, a current corresponding to given charge/discharge power is output from the battery unit.
