  • Patent number: 10639955
Abstract: A suspension system for a vehicle axle including at least one hydraulic suspension cylinder, which has at least one chamber, with the chamber being connected to a hydraulic accumulator and allowing a connection via switching arrangement as well as to a pressure source and a pressure release. A shut-off valve is arranged between the chamber and the accumulator, by which the suspension can be blocked. In order to avoid during the unblocking process that any sudden compensating motion of the axle suspension develops, here the suspension system includes at least one detection device connected to the chamber of the suspension cylinder and the accumulator, which is embodied to detect the pressure difference between the chamber and the accumulator.

  • Patent number: 9174509
Abstract: A suspension system is provided for a movable, supported vehicle axle. The suspension system includes a pair of hydraulic suspension cylinders, which are placed between the vehicle axle and a supporting vehicle structure. Each hydraulic suspension cylinder includes a first work chamber connected to a first pressure accumulator, and a second work chamber connected to a second pressure accumulator. A pressure-limiting valve is exposed to pressure in the first work chamber and has an outlet connected to the second pressure accumulator.
