  • Publication number: 20240170581
Abstract: An integrated circuit structure includes a sub-fin having at least a first portion that is doped with a first type of dopant, and a second portion that is doped with a second type of dopant. A PN junction is between the first and second portions of the sub-fin. The first type of dopant is one of a p-type or an n-type dopant, and the second type of dopant is the other of the p-type or the n-type dopant. A first contact and a second contact comprise conductive material. In an example, the first contact and the second contact are respectively in contact with the first portion and the second portion of the sub-fin. A diode is formed based on the PN junction between the first and second portions, where the first contact is an anode contact of the diode, and the second contact is a cathode contact of the diode.

  • Patent number: 11919502
Abstract: An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a battery pack, an electromagnetic device, an engine, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack, operate the electromagnetic device using stored energy in the battery pack to provide a performance condition including (i) accelerating the electrified fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time, and start and operate the engine in response to a start condition to facilitate reserving sufficient stored energy in the battery pack such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate the performance condition. The acceleration time is 30 second or less. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least 3 minutes.

  • Patent number: 5540030
Abstract: A method for the grouting of an unbonded post-tensioned cable in a concrete structure which cable is enclosed in a cable sheath is disclosed. The method includes the steps of pumping a curable hydrophobic grouting material, for example a polyurethane resin into the cable sheath to fill a selected length of the cable sheath with the grouting material and continuing the injection until the selected length of the sheath is filled with the grouting material and the material expelled from the sheath no longer includes any admixed water. Infiltrated water in the cable sheath is expelled by way of the injected grouting material so that corrosion of the cable is stopped and further corrosion prevented. The grouting material also bonds to the cable and the sheath thereby preventing a sudden eruption of the cable from the surrounding building structure should the cable break.
