  • Patent number: 11738482
Abstract: A method for potting electrical components into complex finishing forms is presented. A releasing agent is added into a mold cavity. Next, an initial layer of potting compound is added into the mold cavity. A label layer is added into the initial layer of the potting compound. A set of electronic components is added over the label layer. An interstitial layer of potting compound is added over the set of electronic components. A reinforcement layer is added along the interstitial layer. A finishing layer of the potting compound is added over the reinforcement layer forming an uncured potted electronic product. The uncured potted electronic product is cured within the mold cavity in order to produce a cured potted electronic product. The cured potted electronic product is released from the negative mold using a releasing device.

  • Patent number: 11741331
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an electronic tag that may be scanned using at least two modalities, such by scanning a radio-frequency identification (“RFID”) embedded within the tag and/or scanning a machine-readable label (“MRL”) visible from an outside of the tag. Systems may track and capture downstream user interaction with content presented in response to a scan. Systems may distinguish between scan of an MRL versus scans of an RFID chip. A scan of an MRL may trigger loading of a first scan destination on a scanning device. A scan of an RFID chip may trigger loading of a second scan destination on a scanning device. Systems may generate analytics on detected differences between whether an MRL or RFID chip is scanned.

  • Publication number: 20020194604
Abstract: A method and mechanism for facilitating product purchases in an interactive television system. A programming stream is conveyed from a broadcast station to a receiver. In addition to the programming content, the stream which is broadcast has been tagged with information describing products and services which may be purchased. Upon presentation of an advertisement, movie, or other television program, an indication such as an icon may be presented to a viewer indicating that product or service information is available. A viewer may select the icon and store the corresponding product or service information in a virtual shopping cart or shopping list. The receiver may present the virtual shopping cart containing viewer selections on a virtual channel. A viewer may tune to the virtual channel and interact with the virtual shopping cart in order to add, delete, or initiate the purchase of products or services. Subsequently, purchase requests may be conveyed via Internet or otherwise.

  • Patent number: 4523673
Abstract: A device is disclosed for transferring workpieces from an entry station and to a predetermined position on a continuously moving conveyor. The device comprises a housing wherein at least a portion of the conveyor extends through and is movable along a predetermined path of movement through the housing. A carriage assembly is movably mounted to the housing along the path of movement and is movable from a first position in which the carriage assembly is aligned with the entry station and a second position which is spaced from its first position along the path of movement. The carriage assembly includes arms which engage and receive a workpiece from the entry station. Thereafter, a coupling member on the carriage engages an abutment member on the conveyor so that the carriage assembly and conveyor move in unison with each other.
