    Abstract: A railcar transfer containment unit for collecting spillage during transfer of liquid from a railcar tanker provides a container, a vertically adjustable ell disposed within the container, means for adjusting the vertical position of the ell within the container, and means for locking the ell in a selected fixed vertical position. Conductive grounding straps reduce the danger of fire resulting from a static electricity discharge during transfer of flammable liquids.
