    Abstract: A medical device is described, including a sheath and a handle with a slidable portion optionally having three finger rings for gripping the handle. The sheath has a protrusion adapted to mate with a recess in the distal end of the handle. A cap may optionally be attached to the distal end of the handle to prevent the sheath from inadvertently becoming dislodged in a lateral direction with respect to the handle. Using the handle, a user is able to operate a surgical instrument.
