  • Publication number: 20240358597
Abstract: A tamper-resistant pill dispensing device that utilizes live data to regulate pill consumption and send virtual flags to physicians if patterns of dependence are triggered. The device contains two separate components. The first is a live monitoring dispensing device assembly that detects and collects data as to whether the device has been tampered with. This smart device uses a microcontroller and timer to track data in real time and control circuitry to release pills during the exact times the physician instructed. The second component is a disposable capsule assembly that is compatible with current pharmacist pill-loading practices. The disposable capsule assembly attaches to the dispensing device assembly and once connected cannot be disconnected until instructed by a physician. Once connected, a patient can use various user interfaces and physical devices to better regulate their prescription pill consumption.

  • Publication number: 20060276144
Abstract: An improved system and method of installing wireless network components, such as data transceivers, into residential and commercial buildings and other structures, by combining said wireless network components with standard power receptacles, switches, and similar devices. A module electrical device combines a low-voltage signaling or communications system device with a power line voltage device in a single housing that can be listed and installed in accordance with current electrical codes. The device can be installed in standard power-line level wall box electrical enclosures. The housing provides a plurality of internal cavities through which power line voltage and low-voltage wiring can be routed. A variety of connecting means can be provided on the front and rear faces of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060085496
Abstract: A digital filter includes a plurality of connected component digital filters. Control signal generation circuitry is configured to receive a tap output signal from each of at least some of the component digital filters and to process the received tap output signals to generate a control signal to output from the control signal circuitry. Output processing circuitry is configured to process an output of one of the plurality of component digital filters, based on the control signal generated by the control signal circuitry, to generate an output of the digital filter. The processing of the received tap output signals by the control signal generation circuitry may be, for example, programmably configurable.

  • Publication number: 20060048635
Abstract: A system for converting output signals from the individual pickup coils of an electric guitar to a high quality digital signal, transmitting that signal from the guitar to a computer or outboard decoding device, and remotely making connections or adjustments to the signals. The system is unidirectional, and maintains compatibility with existing analog connection equipment, while permitting software-based adjustments to the sound from each individual string. An outboard connection device may be used to provide output jacks for each resulting individual signal.
