Abstract: A gauge adapter system, comprising a gauge adapter device and a server, the gauge adapter device having a gauge interface circuit board comprising a network adapter, at least one set of pins adapted to connect to a tank gauge, a power interface connected to the gauge interface circuit board adapted to receive power from the tank gauge; and a plurality of lights adapted to provide transmit and receive indications, wherein each gauge adapter device has a unique source IP address, as well as a server comprising, a decryption and encryption module that encrypts and decrypts messages, a plurality of gauge adapter device queues each in communication with a gauge adapter device, the queues containing commands for the gauge adapter devices, and a command generator adapted to placing commands in the device queues.
