Abstract: Load management apparatus constituting a direct replacement for a conventional molded case circuit breaker consists of half-inch wide switching and management modules connected in series between an electrical load and its energizing source. The switching module is a conventional circuit breaker and the management module includes a normally closed electromagnetic contactor provided with a permanent magnet latch which holds the contactor in open position. Remotely generated signals are utilized to selectively energize the main operating coil which opens the contactor and to selectively energizing the bucking coil which releases the magnetic latch.
