  • Publication number: 20080004199
Abstract: Laundry detergent compositions containing from about 6% to about 35% of a surfactant component; wherein the surfactant component comprises: from about 0.5 to about 15%, by weight of the composition, of an MES blend having an average level of disalt of from about 8% to about 50%, wherein said MES blend comprises C16 MES; and wherein a ratio of C16 MES to surfactant component is less than about 0.3.

  • Patent number: 4529851
Abstract: A machine insertable miniature DIP switch (10) comprises a housing (12) insert molded about a plurality of terminals (40). The terminals (40) are oppositely disposed pairs having interior portions (44) located within housing chambers (30) formed by transversely extending walls (20), with the ends of the pairs of terminals separated by an open area (A) comprising a depression. An actuator (60) includes an upward extension (64) above a top plate (62) with a contactor receptacle (66) located therebelow, a depending detent wall (68) with a detent protrusion (70) on one side of the actuator, and an oppositely disposed depending actuator side wall (72). The detent protrusion (70) is received by detent openings (22) within the associated transverse wall (20), top plate extensions (63) are positioned over the associated transverse wall, and the oppositely disposed actuator side wall (72) is positioned for engagement with a shelf (24) located in the associated transverse wall.

  • Patent number: 4352966
Abstract: A slider consisting of a one or two piece body with resilient contact switch members projecting in opposite directions at spaced intervals along the length of the slider to be in contact with a collector plate on one side and a respective one of spaced contactors at the opposite side. A plurality of ribs or protuberances which are located in the line of movement of the switch members, causes resilient deformation of the switch members to hold the switch in position once it snap fits into one or another of its respective switch positions. The protuberances may be either projections formed integrally in a switch body or on the collector plates.

  • Patent number: 4352964
Abstract: A miniature insert molded slide (10) or rocker (12) switch assembly is designed for machine insertion on printed circuit boards. A metallic strip (90) is blanked to form pairs of oppositely disposed terminals (22) still attached to the carrier strip (92). The insert-molding operation forms a box-like housing (14) about the terminals (22) on the strip (90), each pair of terminals (22) being embedded in the base (16) of said housing (14). During the insert-molding operation, the die forms the terminal head (28) of each terminal (22). The housing-terminals construction is utilized for both the slide (10) and rocker (12) switch assemblies. The slide switch assembly (10) includes an actuator (40) having a double cantilevered resilient contactor (50) entrapped in a through opening (48) in the actuator (40), the contactor (50) having a depending arcuately shaped contactor head (54) for engaging and disengaging the terminal heads (28).

  • Patent number: 4312118
Abstract: An inexpensive minimum component loudspeaker which dispenses with the need for either a spider or top plate, consisting of a back plate having a centrally disposed hollow post, an annular permanent magnet mounted on the back plate and closely adjacent the post, and a basket having a central portion lying flat against the permanent magnet and including a central opening concentric with the post and a folded back annular flange which lies flatly against the base of the basket to form a double layer of metallic material disposed closely adjacent the confronting surface of the post to form an air gap. The additional metallic material channels the magnetic lines so that there is a maximum concentration of gauss lines within the air gap. A single piece combination cone and dust cover having mounted thereto a bobbin with coils to form a voice coil is precisely located in relation to the air gap by means of a collapsible shim gauge.

  • Patent number: 4152616
Abstract: A piezoelectric crystal comprising an elongated bar-shaped crystal having a pair of parallel spaced lead wires depending orthogonally from nodal points on one surface of the crystal and an elongated bar-shaped base in spaced relationship to the crystal and supporting the lead wires. The base is provided with conical shape holes with the larger diameter ends thereof proximal to the crystal, and sealing and securing means locate the hermetical seal between the lead wires and the base distal from the crystal enabling the lead wires to vibrate freely within the conical holes of the base. The length of the lead wires between the crystal and the point of attachment to the base is one-quarter wave length to return to the crystal a maximum percentage of the vibrational energy transmitted into the lead wires from the crystal thereby minimizing energy dissipation of the crystal while maintaining both a minimum distance between the crystal and the base and providing a minimum package size for the crystal.

  • Patent number: 3980911
Abstract: An improved piezoelectric crystal unit provides a housing, a piezoelectric crystal element, and oppositely disposed mounting means for suspending the crystal element within the housing. A first set of three cradle means and a second set of three cradle means engage opposite faces of the crystal element. Each of the first set of cradle means contains a face member disposed adjacent the first face of the crystal element and an edge member disposed adjacent the peripheral edge of the crystal element and each of the second set of three cradle means contains a face member disposed adjacent the second face of the crystal element and an edge member disposed adjacent the peripheral edge of the crystal element. Integral with each of the first set of cradle means are elongated resilient legs exerting uniform pressures on one face of the crystal element and integral with each of the second set of cradle means are elongated resilient legs exerting uniform counterbalancing pressures on the other face of crystal element.
