    Abstract: A method improving paint adhesion to thermoplastic olefins. The method comprises providing a thermoplastic olefin prepared from a TPO blend comprising maleated polypropylene and amine-terminated polyether. A paint is provided comprising a base paint and a paint adhesion promoter selected from the group consisting of a chlorinated polyolefin, a hydrogenated poly(butadiene)diol, and mixtures thereof. The paint is applied to the thermoplastic olefin.
