    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an integral one-piece needle, the method comprising feeding a polymeric resin into a mould cavity and injecting a fluid under pressure into at least a portion of the cavity to eject therefrom the central region of the polymeric resin. This creates an annulus of polymeric resin having an orifice therethrough, the annulus of polymeric resin forming the cannula of the needle, the mounting hub being provided by the remaining portion of the cavity.
