  • Publication number: 20230150597
Abstract: A mobile robot having a removable wheel-drive assembly, comprising a mobile base having a chassis and a first wheel well member with a flange. There is a removable wheel drive assembly with a mounting bracket. There is a motor drive unit disposed on the mounting bracket and a wheel/tire connected to the motor drive unit via an axle. There is a second wheel well member on the mounting bracket and positioned between the motor drive unit and the wheel. The second wheel well member includes a central section having an aperture through which the axle passes and a top surface. The top surface of the central section of the second wheel well member engages with the flange of the first wheel well member of the mobile base.

  • Publication number: 20150206094
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an asset tracking system for tracking assets configured to be rack mounted in at least one of a plurality of shelf (ā€œUā€) locations of an equipment rack. The system may have a plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags each secured to a separate asset and encoded with information concerning the asset to which it is secured. A plurality of antennas may each be secured adjacent to specific shelf locations. This uniquely associates each antenna with at least one specific shelf location. A subsystem selectively obtains information from the antennas, one by one, to determine when assets are positioned in specific ones of the shelf locations. The RFID tags may also supply information on an identity of each asset present in each shelf location.

  • Publication number: 20150042115
Abstract: The Spring Loaded Fifth Wheel Release Puller of the present invention is designed to minimize the impact forces felt by a user when using the tool to release the locking mechanism from a fifth wheel by pulling on the fifth wheel release handle. The Spring Loaded Fifth Wheel Release Puller minimizes the forces felt by the user by dissipating the amount of reflected energy to the user as a result of delivering a large amount of energy to the tool. This is accomplished by utilizing an energy absorbing device such as a spring between the contact point of the delivered force and the user delivering the force. The Spring Loaded Fifth Wheel Release Puller of the present invention includes a fifth wheel handle puller, a housing, an energy absorbing device, and a grip handle; the energy absorbing device of the present invention being the spring system.
