Abstract: A method of processing a transaction between a customer and a merchant includes receiving from a mobile device of the customer or from another device of the customer an indication of consent to perform a cardless payment transaction with the merchant, receiving from the mobile device an indication that the customer is within a predetermined distance of the merchant, after receiving both the indication of consent and the indication that the customer is within the predetermined distance, sending to a computer system of the merchant an indication of the presence of the customer and personal identifying information for the customer, receiving data indicating a transaction between the customer and the merchant, and submitting the transaction to a financial service for authorization.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for generating stabilized oxidants using a stabilizer composition and an in situ generated oxidant in a water system. The method includes mixing the stabilizer composition and the in situ generated oxidant with water to form a liquid treatment composition, and then adding the liquid treatment composition to a water stream in the water system, the liquid treatment composition improving the efficacy of the in situ generated oxidant in the water stream.

Abstract: A top assembly (24) selectively covers an open top motor vehicle. The open top motor vehicle has a front mounting edge (12) and a rear mounting edge (14). The top assembly (24) includes a fabric sheet (26) and retainers (32, 34) fixedly secured along front (28) and rear (30) edges of the fabric for sealingly engaging with the front and rear edges of the open top. A pair of side frame members (31, 33) pivotally engages opposite sides of the front and rear retainers (32, 34). The side frame members (31, 33) are movable between a locked condition and a folded condition. When the side frame members are locked, the front and rear retainers (32, 34) are spaced apart drawing out said fabric sheet (26) and sealingly engaging the front and rear edges (12, 14) of the vehicle top opening. When the side frame members (31, 33) are unlocked, the top assembly folds for removal from the vehicle and storage.

Abstract: A hinge assembly pivotally attaching a tonneau cover panel to a cargo bed of a motor vehicle. The hinge assembly includes an attachment bracket fixedly secured to the cargo bed of the motor vehicle. The attachment bracket defines a slot extending between a closed end and an open end, and the slot includes a pocket disposed adjacent the open end. The hinge assembly also includes a panel bracket fixedly secured to the tonneau cover panel. The panel bracket includes a base and a distal end defining an end aperture. The end aperture is alignable with the slot. In addition, the hinge assembly includes an attachment pin extending through the end aperture and received within the slot for movably securing the panel bracket with the attachment bracket.

Abstract: A ventilation system and material therefor includes a passage beneath the shingle layer of the roof of a building. The passage leads from the exterior of the building to the interior of the attic of the building. The passage is plugged with an air permeable polymeric material to allow passage of air from the exterior of the building to the interior of the building, and vice versa. The polymeric material is preferably shaped with a tapered cross section.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for repairing dimpled or cracked windshields is set forth. One portion of apparatus utilizes a suction cup, a laterally extending support member, three adjustable legs to level the support member approximately parallel to the windshield, and a threaded housing in inserted therethrough to bear against the windshield. The housing incorporates a plunger which operates as a syringe to inject a fluid resin for repair. On the opposite face, a set of suction cups holds a support member so that the end face of a bolt can be moved against the windshield to slightly bow the back side of the damaged area. The repair procedure includes the optional step of drilling into the dimple or crack, bowing from the back side, injection under pressure wherein the injection step is through an O-ring seal.

Abstract: An insecticide carrier and insecticide comprising a mixture of petrolatum and diatomaceous earth. A diluent, such as crop oil, may be added to the mixture, particularly for use as a spray insecticide. Any of a variety of insecticides containing active ingredients may also be added. The resulting formulation provides a longer life product, as well as ultraviolet shielding, good adhesion to insects and vegetation, and increased insect penetration.
