  • Publication number: 20060119625
Abstract: A display system comprising a reflective display configured to display a luminance component associated with a color input signal and a projector configured to project a chrominance component associated with the color input signal onto the reflective display is provided. The reflective display is configured to reflect the chrominance component.

  • Patent number: 6804409
Abstract: A method is disclosed for changing the dynamic range of an original input image to more closely match the dynamic range of the medium used for a reproduction. The method includes creating an output image by preserving small contrast differences between different areas of the original input image and limiting the maximum contrast differences between different areas of the original input image. The method also includes creating a mask by subtracting the original input image from the output image, scaling the mask, and creating a new output image by adding the scaled mask to the original input image.

  • Patent number: 5651658
Abstract: A self-propelled lift truck comprising a forward carriage assembly, which includes a pair of spaced apart ground engageable wheels and a vertical mast on which is mounted a forwardly projecting fork assembly for lifting and lowering of loads thereon by relative upward and downward movement and a rearward carriage assembly which includes at least one ground engageable wheel and on which is supported a power source for operating components of the lift truck. The forward and rearward carriage assemblies are connected by an articulated support assembly which includes forward, intermediate and rearward transversely spaced apart support members. The foremost ends of the forward support members are pivotally attached to the forward carriage assembly. The rearmost ends of the rearward support members are pivotally attached to the rearward carriage assembly.

  • Patent number: 5368321
Abstract: An exercise cycle is propelled by a stair-stepping action of the driver's legs, with the feet placed on a pair of front-hinged footboards located along opposite sides of the vehicle. A novel cable and chain drive system delivers driving torque to the rear wheel assembly to propel the vehicle forward in response to the driver's weight being applied via the legs and feet to depress the footboards alternately: the driving mechanism is located in a lower forward portion of the cycle so as to keep the mechanism below the rear wheel height and thus provide a low profile.

  • Patent number: 4925034
Abstract: A fitment for a package is stamped out of polystyrene strips and then hot melt adhesive bonded to the package so that a tab portion of the fitment overlies an openable flap formed by a score line in the package. The package is opened by rotating the tab so that the forward portion of the tab pushes the openable flap into the container. Since the forward portion of the tab is adhesively bonded to the openable flap, when a frangible connection between the tab and base fractures, the openable flap and tab can be removed to thereby expose an opening in the package. Rotation of the tab is initiated by pushing downwardly on the forward portion of the tab in order to fracture the score line of the package.
