    Abstract: A smoke aspirating electrosurgical device includes an electrically conductive blade attached to an axial end of a device handle. The handle is constructed to form an interior channel extending from the blade end of the handle to the opposite end for aspiration of smoke produced by electrosurgical incisions with the blade. The interior channel can be connected to a vacuum source through a tube extending from the channel.
