  • Publication number: 20150065279
Abstract: An arrow tip for use in bowfishing has helical faces. The arrow tip may be attached to an arrow adapter containing barbs, which may be released by partially releasing the arrow tip. The helical faces tend to cause the arrow tip to rotate in accordance with the direction of its threaded attachment point, helping to ensure that the arrow tip is securely attached to the arrow adapter.

  • Patent number: 5074075
Abstract: A track and hinge assembly set for with a casement window sash unit comprises a pair of track and hinge assemblies each including a track which is mounted on a horizontal frame member of the window frame. Each assembly also includes a toggle hinge including a pair of pivotally interconnected links, one of which is secured to the casement sash and pivotally and slidably connected to the track. The other link is pivotally connected to a cam which is shiftably mounted on the track. In one embodiment, the cam is longitudinally shiftable relative to the track which repositions the pivotal connection between a toggle link and cam to overcome sash sag. In other embodiments, the cam is rotated relative to the track to reposition the pivotal connection between the cam and a toggle link to correct sash sag.

  • Patent number: 4550542
Abstract: A vision unit which can be easily assembled into the opening in a door such as a fire door which is constructed so that it can withstand high temperatures without disintegration. The vision unit is readily assembled into an opening in the door by one person working alone. The vision unit is composed basically of two frame members, two lower support elements and a biasing element which extends between the wall surface at the top of the opening and one of the support arms of the frame. • Patent number: 4383516
Abstract: A fishing reel for an archery bow has a housing which is attachable to the center portion of a bow. The housing mounts a pair of rollers, one of which is geared to a crank handle and the other of which is mounted on a pivotable trigger lever. A line attached to an arrow extends between the rollers and is stored loosely in a bottle mounted on the housing. The trigger lever is actuated by a finger of the archer's hand which holds the bow to pinch the line between the rollers for retrieval upon turning of the hand crank, or to release the line so as to enable the line to move freely out of the bottle.
