Abstract: A portable drilling rig 20 for drilling water wells or installing geothermal pipe systems in the ground 22. The portable drilling rig 20 is removably mounted on a truck bed 24. The single I beam mast 30 of the rig 20 pivots to a horizontal position 32 on the truck bed 24 for transport and pivots to a vertical position 34 for drilling, or alternately, pivots to a slanted position 38 for drilling at an angle “A” into the ground 22. A swivel 78 that is normally parallel to the mast 30 is movable along the length of the mast 30. The swivel 78 can be pivoted to its non-parallel position 122 relative to the mast 30 in order to attach or remove pipe segments 126 from a drive shaft 136 provided on the swivel 78.

Abstract: An improved grease fitting of the type generally referred to as a blowdown fitting is provided, including a plurality of sealing means which enables lubricant to be safely injected into the lubricant supply system. An upper body is rotatable with respect to the main body, and pressure may be vented through a cap threaded to the upper body. A stinger assembly is rotatable with respect to both main body and the upper body, which enhances the life of the seal between the stinger and the main body. A sealing ball is provided between the stinger assembly and the cone, and is biased toward its seating surface by a spring adapted to enable a lubricant/polyester plasticizer mixture to pass through the fitting.

Abstract: An improved grease fitting is provided particularly suitable in high pressure applications where a polyester plasticizer is intermingled with a lubricant. In one embodiment of the invention, a metal ball is biased by a cylindrical helical spring for sealing engagement with a plastic seat. A leg of the spring passes through the axis of the fitting, so that when grease is forced through the fitting, the unseated ball moves rapidly to allow the plasticizer and lubricant to pass through the fitting with less resistance. The helical spring is enclosed in a sleeve, and a stop on the sleeve enables the end of the sleeve to compress the plastic seat to a predetermined extent, thus prolonging the expected life of the plastic seat.

Abstract: A closet storage unit of predetermined height including, a lower frame substantially one-half the height of the unit and a plurality of drawers in said frame and an upper second frame sized to fit on the lower, frame, also substantially one-half the height of the unit, and having a plurality of shelves, and a standard in spaced relation from the stacked frames; adjustable support members in the form of rods and shelving span the frames and standard. A second standard may be provided with shelves and rods extending oppositely from the first mentioned rods and shelves.
