    Abstract: A shedding mechanism for a foot treadled hand loom is disclosed. The mechanism insures ease of operation and uniform shed formation. Harness motion is always parallel to the original harness position, and each harness moves further than the one in front of it to cause all warp threads to open to the same angle at the front of the loom.
